I like those meatballs made from minced off-cuts and offal, especially pork (traditionally pig's heart, liver, and fatty belly meat or bacon) together with herbs for flavouring and sometimes added bread crumbs. It is a traditional dish in the United Kingdom, especially South and Mid Wales and the English Midlands.

Fish and chips Fish and chips are good. Damn, I'm blanking on the name of my favorite dish tho. It originated as a traditional cheap food consumed by ordinary country people in Western England, particularly west Wiltshire and the West Midlands. Its popularity spread from there, especially to South Wales in the mid-nineteenth century, when many agricultural workers left the land to work in the rapidly expanding industry and mines of that area. It's also known as "ducks" in Yorkshire, Lincolnshire, and Lancashire, often as "savoury ducks". --- ... Copied to Clipboard!

Shepard's Pie. though I found out that what Americans eat is not true Shepard's Pie. in Britain, it's only Shepards Pie if it has lamb as the meat. if it's beef they call it Cottage Pie
regardless, I've been in love with that dish for years. I first had it I think when I went to the UK in like 2003. every one in a while I convince my mom to make it. and one time I managed to cook my own when I was feeling ambitious. ... Copied to Clipboard!

I like meat pies a lot, though I know they're not specifically english. When I lived in England I'd walk to the pub in my tiny village once a week for their pies, and their curry every Friday.
