Basically a coworker got me some chocolate bar for Christmas since she knows that I have a sweet tooth for chocolate, but the chocolate bar she gave me had eggs in them and I'm allergic to them. I rejected her present and told her that I unfortunately cannot eat anything with eggs. She understood it but she had a look of disappointment.
Now I wonder if I should have lied and accepted the gift and then later on the day just given it to someone else or something lol. Sounds like you have a crush on her otherwise nothing wrong with that.
Just say thanks, and if they want to watch you eat it, explain the allergy but say you will give it to your mom or something and appreciate it. But if you into her you should just eat it and revel in the pain later. ... Copied to Clipboard!
