Yep. Giving money to the regular folks results in the rich folks getting it, but it keeps the regular folks satisfied. While giving money directly the the rich folks does nothing useful. Money wants to flow uphill, so the best place to toss money to help the economy is near the bottom so it can do the most work as it reaches the endpoint.

Thats what I dont get either. They didnt seem to care about the deficit when it came to getting the rich tax breaks. This has to philosophy where its only about punishing poor people. It has nothing to do with building a better society but just to PUNISH people they do not feel work hard enough. Pure vindictiveness

Agreed, that's why I don't think they care about the budget at all. It's just about keep people down, not in like some grand conspiracy illumanti way, but just literally they believe fundamentally that poor people deserve to be punished for being poor.

Man, where have these deficit hawks been the last 4 years? That wall? The military? I know tax breaks to big entities are a GOP thing, but why was the huge tax break so wonderful and unlimited for the rich, but just a hint of ok and unlimited for the common folk? Seems like when Don and Mitch wanted that deficit to go up, Ronny J had no issue with it.

Ron Johnson is a tool. He and Randy Paul have become Trump henchmen who now believe there was massive election fraud even though their seems to be a lack of evidence in the court cases.
