You don't seem to know what an empty threat is. One, you never threatened him. Two, you carried out your shitty action.

You say you didn't intend anyone to scam him, but you literally gave people his information and told them to scam him.

you can tell people to scam someone without the intention to actually have people scam him. Which is an empty threat.

no one scammed him anyways

You're a real simple piece of shit for doing that

not going to argue this but I was missing info such as how to scam the guy or where he lives, and no one attempted to scam him. Yet he called it conspiracy.

Again it's not an empty threat. Your "threat" was to try and get other people to scam him, and it wasn't even a threat because you did exactly that. If no one wants him, he gets scammed and it's because of you.

You aren't processing that you don't know what an empty threat means. If it was an empty threat, you would personally tell him you were going to scam him and then not follow through. This isn't that. You literally told other people to scam him and gave them his information. At that point it's out of your hands. You not really wanting him to get scammed doesn't matter because you gave the internet everything they needed to do so.

Also for it to be a threat you have to threaten him, which you didn't do. You acted in secret, which is a conspiracy.

I had an issue with a Facebook seller where I couldnt buy a Pokmon XD disc from him because he had given me the incorrect bus route, and also didnt apologize for doing so. While I shouldve double checked the bus route beforehand, the fact that he didnt apologize for giving the wrong info implies he deliberately wasted my time on purpose (even though there is no evidence). I thought he wasnt very committed to selling especially since me and my buddy had difficulty y buying from a previous seller. My other friend said he doesnt deserve business if hes so picky lmao so I took my friends words out of context to mean the guy didnt deserve any cash and anyone who robs him should be arrested (but he doesnt deserve his game back). I posted on reddit all the events that happened and at the end, I linked the sellers item and said would anyone like to buy from him? Ill let you keep the game if you want and also feel free to scam him. I just want the game off his hands and in a better one. I didnt list other things such as the guys address or what steps to scam him, but later on I said I wouldnt be into scamming him if he had given the incorrect bus route. Everyone told him all about this. and he filed a police report on me. Its been 2 months since the report without me hearing anything from the police and I dont really interact with the guy now, but I told someone else on reddit everything that happened and the person said that the police probably dont really care as they consider me some random guy online, so this is why I asked this and these two questions so I could learn how do police work. https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/boards/400-current-events/79147451
https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/boards/400-current-events/79149729

This really puts into perspective why Pokemon fans will literally eat anything gamefreak shits out and beg for more.

You gave them all the details a scammer would need to harass someone. All they need is his name, where he's from, motive, and a way to contact him, which you freely provided. It doesn't matter what your friend would do, it matters that you gave a man's information to literal strangers and told them to scam him. You put all of this out there for the entire world to see, and if no one wants him there's a very real chance he gets harassed.

I think this is true of most any major site on the internet. The amount of drama out there is ridiculous sometimes. Reddit seems to be people who can't stand it either. Name me one site where people aren't salty. Gamefaqs isn't it. The internet is not the greatest source of information. There might be a lot of it. As far as accurate it's about 50/50. Even Google now is sketchy with their search results.
