I have an LG all-in-one washer/dryer and it stopped working here and there in the past 6 months. The cycle has been:
  1. Machine stops working, "FE" error
  2. I call home depot
  3. They send someone out
  4. The machine is working when the guy comes out. Things seem to be testing OK
  5. The machine stops working again within a few tries after he leaves
  6. The machine stops working. "FE" error


So the 5th technician came out today and he found that the cold water valve is faulty. So they have to order that part from Home Depot and then replace it.

I got a freakin muscle spasm in my back the gear slipped the air brakes were shot to hell. I mean there was nothing I could do, boom right into the post office

You told them it said FE error and they didn't immediately replace the intake valves?

Yeah, the most frustrating part is that it takes them a week to come out after I call. The last time it happened, I tried to just leave the washer/dryer on with the FE error.

Then water started to spill out of it, lol. Had to keep trying to turn it off and back on to get it to do a drain & spin cycle, lol.

They even have this thing where they can use the camera on my cell phone to see a video of the washing machine displaying the error in real time. Then when the tech got out here last week, he just checked a few unrelated things, shrugged, and left.

Insane. I guess they get paid no matter what, but to have zero pride in your work like that is shameful.

Yeah. I was super frustrated after it stopped working again last week. I was trying to push them to just replace the whole freaking thing because I got tired of going through the same cycle over and over.
