You need to change your perspective on reality and existence and adopt a universal consciousness mentality.

You are not the body. You are the soul that is piloting the body, an extension of the universe itself that has decided to experience the elements of physical life through your mortal vessel. If you identify as the body, you will be trapped in a physical prison of your own creation, and your energy will be exploited by negative forces.

To escape this, do things that are considered righteous or in balance with the natural order of the universe:

-Understand the scientific and spiritual aspect of creation and manifestation
-Understand the law of attraction (what you put your focus on attracts the reality towards you that you seek to manifest)
-Semen retention (no masturbation or porn)
-Don't eat animal products
-Eat organic foods, the less processed the better
-Drink at least 2 liters of water a day
-Not comparing yourself to others (compare yourself now to yourself from yesterday)
-Not trying to impress others (impress yourself from yesterday)
-Take cold showers, even if it's only the last 30 seconds
-Meditation, heartbeat control and breathing exercises
-Not relying on relationships for happiness
-Working out regularly
-Adopting a leader mentality
-Reading books
-Breathing in through the nose
-Have gratitude for everything
-Cleaning your room, making your bed every morning
-Take breaks from social media
-Quit caffeine and sugar/sugary drinks
-Walking through nature (not concrete)
-Adopt awareness of what/where/how much your time and energy is being spent

*pardon any spelling errors I type this on my phone very quick lol

Yeh, probably lol this girl talked to me about vinyasa yoga (or something like that) and it sounded pretty cool.. I'm already a believer of reincarnation/the law of conservation of mass/Heaven so I felt it'd be cool to explore that

I did and my mind went faaaaaaaaarrrrr and what I saw in illusion at times so much better than what I get to normally see.. I do music so listening to a song gets me the same thing.. just wish I could actually be in what the song makes me imagine (it's different alot of times so it's always exciting to listen to a song)

Wish I could listen my way through life lol

I've kept maintenance on the machine for awhile now - could always improve, which has always been something I've been prudent to.. but where's my mind training man?

I've gotten close playing music - you just really, really let go. You're like in this incredible pocket where you know your fingers are moving but you're just listening and letting go and before you know it, it's like this giddy anxiety coursing through your body (like grinding on THPS and trying to get that balance in the middle but you veer off almost about to fail and then you swurve allll the way to the other side)

I'm a pretty happy person and I'm glad I'm not smart to the point stupid shit can't make me laugh - just feel like it's a rip-off I can't feel that way all the time.. I noticed it's a trait of really any great moment to laugh and feel incredibly nervous

Also I will say, going vegan and doing daily meditation + listening to New-Age music has been one of the most impactful things I started doing. I don't get fazed by any negative shit anymore. People being petty or stupid, things going generally annoying, etc does not cause me to lose focus and control of myself.

The quote I have in my signature is something I also learned lately and has had a big impact on my philosophy. I used to be a very undisciplined person and had a plethora of problems. Now I do all those things in my list, and my life has literally done a complete 180 spin. I'm fit, I'm healthy, I'm happy, and I am very fortunate to have the people currently in my life and good things are always being presented.

That's pretty much how I feel - yeah

I learned as a little kid God through my family, went hardcore against it (lol) and went to an opposite but inevitable extreme (cause: genes (pre-disposition), life (bad friends, but enjoyable friends), interests ((music/drugs - it was inevitable for me to bust door every single door)), etc), came back to it when I realized nature was much like God and science proves reincarnation so whatever - my starting point again.. but now?

Getting older is making my body have more frantic shifts of mood - I knew how much my mental state of mind I could control, but what my body feels definitely wants to try and tank my brain down with it. It's made worse with these heart palpitations that started 4-5 years ago that often make me think 'well shoot, I guess I get less years'..

The bolded part is stuff that I think can definitely help with sort of calming my heart down - I mean, I've been deeding cause I vowed this year to work on myself and not stay in a relationship cause I'm a sucker for that and my lifes been practically that >_>

But the breathing thing definitely has been helping, been trying to do more things like that

The attraction thing is true though: I like EVERYTHING.. or at least know I'm capable to like everything at least. I'm too curious for my own good I feel <_<

God, I already have to listen to things I don't find attractive to at times being a musician.. that's torture enough >:(

I'll be okay I think, some part of me needs to be elitist to round it all out cause otherwise I'd truly be formless

I can tell you with 100% scientific fact that good habits like eating a healthy balanced diet, working out regularly and doing meditation + breathing & heartbeat control will literally prolong your life and slowly reverse any negative side effects.

Law of attraction definitely helps with your perception on things, take a step back and really analyze everything going on in your life. The behaviors you have today will influence the behaviors you have tomorrow. Break down the word "behavior". Be-hav-ior. Be and have. What you be is what you have. Your state of being determines what you will have. If you have shitty behaviors that get you nowhere in life today, you will be in the same place or worse the next day.

When you start adopting positive qualities, your perception changes and you start attracting positive aspects, people, places, things, and ideas into your life. You will literally manifest your own "heaven". On the contrary, if you adopt negative qualities and have bad behavior, you will create your own "hell". Heaven and hell are not places, they are vibratory states of frequency and being.

I mean, it doesn't have to be New-Age music specifically, but I find classical music just as relaxing and stimulating.

But when I specifically want to do something like lucid dream, astral project or balance out a chakra, I will find a certain New-Age tune that has a certain Hz frequency and some extra binaural beats.

Lol I do that alot of the time so now I'm trying to watch all these many shows people have watched and indulge in video games without feeling 'guilty' I'm not working on guitar.. slowly but surely though. It's something that always feels like return to a precious gem to relax like that so I made it a definite thing of 'I need this like I need guitar to get exposed to more art that I love for the fact I can interact and inject myself into'

I have FromSoft to thank for that tbh - I mostly played sur. horror stuff, CRPG's, and a couple of games here and there.. but getting BB on PS+ for free like 2 years ago really reminded me of how much I love vidya games. I enjoyed many things about the game I was playing and even had all nighters heh but FromSoft was like Christmas every day :P

Really ran that to the ground back in High School

I'm a creature of habit so habits became habits, but I kicked those - the last beast was alcohol but I figured out that if I drink liquor now or have a beer somewhere it should be for pure enjoyment.. not what I used to do lol

Never really dug parties or clubbing though, I mean - I get down but that was like time I really set aside for hanging out with homies to take a break from playing guitar

but honestly I feel your list and like know why you're telling me to ax these things.. for me it's a matter of just REALLY connecting everything together now. I was always a people person by nature and totally made to be with others - I can definitely say I've lived a bards life :P

buuuut yeah - this

Like growing older my body wants me to behave more 'bitter' and more complain-y.. my INT stat is so low that before I could completely bypass those feelings and it seems the more I realize the more I try to equate things with reason and logic >_>

Things are funny and still exciting.. just seems a little bit more 'dulled', like I'm still the Captain of the ship but sometimes now I let the crewmates take over and now just have this time to think about things that could actually go wrong >_>
