today i'm gonna watch american horror story season 3 finale and play the halloween event in animal crossing with my best friend, get our island ready for dreamers. honestly thats so wholesome im not complaining. he also sent me a halloween card i just got in the mail. serotonin is up

in london we can't mix households indoors, and it's cold/wet so there's no outdoor things happening and even if there were, we're restricted to 6 people

I was going to dress as sexy Carmen San Diego (which is regular Carmen San Diego) with some stuff I got on my big trip this Winter. I guess I still will, but it's not as much fun without people to hang out with.

The local Chinese restaurant is having a raffle for anyone who shows up in costume, even for carry-out, so I might swing by that.

Hot Take: 'Hocus Pocus' is great, but a whole townful of adults mocking a fifteen year-old for being a virgin feels dated somehow.

yeah we can't mix with people from other households indoors apart from pubs and restaurants. but we can mix with up to 6 people when it comes to outdoors. not many people stick to that tho :|

that's good to have someone close with you through these times. does he live close to you?

oooh that sounds fun. i've not normally a fan of dress up but i do kinda miss it this year. are there any restrictions with dine-in restaurants where you are? we can only dine indoors with members of our household

yeah people here are done with covid, dont stick to the measures and it shows in the numbers of rising cases. its really a dumb thing in the long run. yea im blessed he lives 10 mins away, though of course i miss seeing my other friends sometimes. who doesnt

Reduced capacity for the past few months (though up from 25% to 50%, just not at 100% yet), wear masks to enter/exit and when not eating/drinking. There haven't been any checks on residences and, as far as I know, it's frowned upon but not forbidden.

One of my jobs is contact tracing for my county in Maryland, but the restaurant and where I do most of my grocery shopping is Pennsylvania because I live closeby the border. PA is doing poorly on purpose and the nearest PA county to me has the 2nd highest hospitalization rate in the state. I'm just going to be getting take-out, probably. Last time I went, they had 50% or more capacity in attendance. There hasn't been any enforcement of distancing, masks, stay-at-homes since the whole damn thing began. :(

Have fun with the movies! Will you dress up for Rocky Horror? >:P
