But I'm too lazy to upload games, or they're games that aren't on my channel, so it limits exposure pretty heavily. I've been casting dota 2 and rocket league and I've accumulated a small fan base in amateur leagues. Sucks that LANs are canceled indefinitely, I'd love to cast a tier 2 or 3 tourney live

How've you been, IGCD? I haven't really been around much, I was furloughed for about a month over the summer and then got smacked down again with a new team. This is release week so I'm super sleep deprived, but it looks like we're working fine so that's a relief.

I've been good. Took a layoff in March and had about 3 and a half months off work, so I spent that time just chilling with the wife and kids. When I got called back it was for a night shift position, which is actually way better because when I do my deliveries I don't have to interact with any customers, there is little to no traffic and all the parking lots are empty. My wife transferred departments at her work when she went back in an effort to get permanent faster because the department she was in has an extremely low turnover rate so she might have ended up being a temporary worker for years, but now she is doing letter carrying which has an extremely high turnover rate so she should be getting permanent much quicker. My son started grade 2 and my daughter kindergarten. Their sports are extremely limited because of covid, so we put them in other activities to kind of make up for it.

What about you? Anything interesting happening in your life these days.

I wouldn't say much interesting has been going on, still no kids, but I'm thinking about trying to buy the house I've been renting for 2 years. I don't know if it's going to work out, but honestly it feels really good, I like the neighborhood, I like the house, and I'd love to be able to make some modifications to it and pain that I couldn't do as a renter.

Aside from that, just been living with my gf, trying to navigate the stresses of work and some sudden anxiety that I've been facing. I started teletherapy about a month ago and I don't know if it helps or not, but at least it's some kind of step to not being overcome by depression/anxiety on a day to day basis.

Yea, I had to get on some medication for my depression after I attempted suicide two years back. Thankfully it is under control now and I feel much better, unfortunately even with medication there can be rough days, though not as bad and not as often.

You and your gf want kids? Or no?

Nah, I don't want kids. It's the kind of thing where my family has really fucked up genetics, and there's days where I can barely take care of myself, I don't want to have the responsibility to take care of another person on those days, ya know?
