Plenty of species' means of reproduction have never been documented.
Whale sharks for example we think we know where they go to breed, but we've never been able to follow them for confirmation since they go pretty deep. Giant squids we've known about the existence of forever (corpses washing ashore and their beaks in sperm whale stomachs) but only found some alive very recently. --- I may not agree with what you have to say, but I will fight to the death for my right to fight you to the death. -Stephen Colbert ...
