In late 2014, my mom (passed away in 18 of congestive heart failure) was getting the battery on her pace maker changed and nearly died.

When my mom came back home, she realized the camera she had installed in the living room caught my dad getting off to porn from the movie channels on demand section.

When my mom found out, she made my dad give up the new 42 inch Sony Bravia they had got two years prior with tax return money to my grandma and purposely got one of those big fat old style big screen TVs from a neighbor that was throwing it out as a replacement to shame my dad.

Back in 2011, my grandma (who passed away in 19 due to dementia) was saying that there was a cousin who lost connection with the family that lives here in the same city but never got to knowing because of that and because he's always too busy cause he plays the accordion at restaurants and night clubs (my mom's family is Hispanic).

So my mom who was alive at the time had suggested to my grandma that she should find out how to get ahold of him so she could meet him and get to know him.

Come 2012, my grandma finds said cousin and starts having him over and let's him take her out to see him play at the places he played at.

A few months later, my mom noticed that he was sometimes staying the night at my grandma's house and wondered why as he makes good money and has his own place as he does also sell records.

Come to find out my grandma was having sex with said cousin and said that her cousin said it's okay and that it was in the Bible.

My grandma started to also have a way of trying to hide the fact of the matter without exactly lying as she instead started to tell my mom that what they were doing was "moving the furniture"

Back in the late 90s the church that my great uncle started in the 50s had a new senior pastor.

Low and behold however my oldest brother who was notorious for cheating on his wife as he's never really been with anyone else as they've been married since the age of 16 started to have an affair with the pastors wife some how.

One day, my brother decided to ask his wife if she would have a threesome with him and the pastors wife and she said no. So he fucked her infront of his own wife (my sister in law) and then proceeded to say that she needed to wash her dirty clothes they just had sex in at my brother's house because their washing machine was broken.

In 2011, my mom had to quit working at the charter school that was being ran at her cousins church (another one ran by my family) because he was getting arrested for embezzling like half a million dollars from it by making up phony vendors he said he was buying new things for the school with, such as a new play ground for the kids (under the phony name "planet playground" he came up with).

In 2011, it turned out the youth pastor in my great uncles church had got a 17 year old girl from the youth class pregnant and then one day also stabbed her to death during an argument at her house while her parents where gone.

In 2018 wheh my mom passed away, my dad was in complete control now and so because I still live with him he started to hit me with a stick and yell at me loud saying he didn't want me here anymore and caused me to be homeless.

After a lot of fighting/trouble I got back to living at home and sometime early this year my dad comes up to me and says "what do I do, there is a lady I met on Facebook from California that has nude pictures of me that says she's going to send said pictures to the local news paper if I don't keep giving her money. I eventually caught onto her when I gave her $250 and she admitted that she went and bought codiene with the money and tried to quit ties with her"

Basically that, and how my dad acted all fast like he was going to find someone and said that "they wouldn't want to be with him if they knew his 30 year old son was still living with him" had shown me that the real reason he had kicked me out was because he thought he was going to get some poon from someone he had never even met and was even giving money to..

All while through the beginning of said fiasco he had made me homeless for almost over two months, living in a car and scared because here in Texas you can easily catch a record for living in a car as you'd end up having to park at some Walmart or something which could be considered trespassing..

well ok, i'll start with an old one and see if a feel like continuing to contribute afterwards.

i was about 4 years old when i saw my dad try to kill his brother on the 4th of july.

it was after dark, him and his brothers were suitably liquored up, and fireworks were involved. rednecks were doing what rednecks do when they get drunk around explosives, they started throwing them at each other in the street.

started with lit fire crackers tossed at each others feet. then came bottle rockets fired from empty beer cans. roman candles came next, but most of them were aimed at the second oldest brother who everyone called screwball (and no, i dont know why).

there was a general animosity against screwball in that family. guy was a habitual drunk, well they all were, but he was a black out drunk; i think half the 'problem' was that he had had a black girlfriend who he got pregnant and that was a big no no in a family from the deep south. so if there were fights, and there were lots of fights, inevitably he became the major target.

so everything started going down hill, and someone thought it would be a good idea to set off a smoke grenade. not a run of the mill smoke grenade, one of those white phosphorus smoke grenades the military uses for cover. so within a couple minutes you couldn't see more then about 3 feed in front of you and it covered the whole block.

and because my dad was a drunk asshole, he took this chance to stick a hand full of lit fire crackers in his brothers pants. a dozen bangs and some screaming later, and his brother was missing a good chunk of thigh and had to be rushed to the hospital. they left about 3 minutes before the cops came to figure out where all the fucking smoke was coming from.

• My dad shot his brother when I was little. My uncle was a bad drunk, usually got mean. Dad is always mean, so they didn't get along much. One night they got into an argument and my dad told his brother to run or he'd kill him. Uncle took off running, as well as a severely drunk guy can, and my dad started shooting at him. Ended up shooting him in the calf. Him and his other brothers covered it up and nothing was done about it.
• Dad was married once before he met my mom. When his first wife told him she was leaving him, he took a steel baseball bat and demolished her car, home, and anything else of hers he could find. Swore if he had found her at the time he'd have killed her.
• I had some respiratory issues when I was younger. Nothing too major, but I got pneumonia one time and the doctor ordered my parents to not smoke near me for the time. So dad made me go sit on the porch in the freezing cold in the middle of winter so he could smoke in his chair.
• Once I needed emergency surgery after a car wreck. He refused to sign the consent form and told the doctors to let me die.
• He tried to kill me and my mom once. Was loading his pistol saying he was going to blow our heads off. We managed to fight it away from him, but me and him ended up in a brawl. He ended up knocking me down, getting on top of me and strangling me. I started punching him in the face, and mom jumped in to hold my arms down and telling me not to fight back. I don't remember how I broke free, but I managed to call 911 before he knocked it out my hand.
• Immediately after the above incident, he convinced the police it was just an argument that got out of hand. The police made me and mom leave, even though I was the one all bloodied up. We went straight to the sheriff's office and filed a restraining order against him. The police had to go back and kick him out instead... we found out later when he cussed us over it, that the police interrupted him watching porn right after we left.
• There's some worse stuff, but I'm not brave enough to put that out in the open yet. But this man certainly needs to be in prison.
