streamofthesky 09/22/20 5:59:28 PM #4:	Congrats on paying the maximum possible amount of money for the crappiest version of the product...? I don't get pre-ordering consoles. I seriously just don't. There's no point even owning a new gen at launch. The library always sucks and anything decent is available on the previous gen consoles anyway, cause developers don't like putting a ton of money and effort into a good game only to restrict it to the 10% of the market that actually upgrades immediately. Buying at launch is perplexing enough. But then you have people desperately scanning websites, spending all this time, to secure a pre-order of one on top of that.... Microsoft and Sony never needed to go into the gaming division as console manufacturers (Sony only did because of a botched deal with Nintendo with the Nintendo Play Station CD add on debacle, and Microsoft already had Windows and did develop a few games for the PC but wanted to break into the console market). All that Nintendo specializes in is through gaming, and would likely try to make more tech divisions outside of gaming in order to maintain a profit in the case of financial difficulties.
