Realistic ones.

I mean we can entertain stupid ideas like China invades and Joe Biden is secretly the Manchurian candidate if you want but I don't think these are worth discussing.

I think the most realistic worst-case is that Biden fails to do much in his first two years to help the economy, because the Senate is fundamentally broken and unworkable and Biden explicitly doesn't want to do much anyway, which would inevitably lead to the mid-terms occurring in the midst of a bad economy and resulting in big Republican victories. Biden will then respond by doing what Clinton and Obama did: by pivoting to full-blown austerity. The worst thing that could come of that is cuts to Social Security and Medicare, a "grand bargain", that Holy Grail of centrism that eluded Obama because the Tea Party was incredibly dumb. I doubt Republicans will be quite so intransigent in dealing with President Biden, and also that President Biden will be willing to give up even more to make it happen.

I mean, even in the best-case scenario, Biden's presidency will be setting back the clock to roll back the damage Trump has done. If he serves one term, which may be likely, he won't get much done as a president, I don't think he has the steam to get a second term.

Trump clearly has ties to Russia, who knows how that will effect the country when he leaves office. Biden's struggle will be an economic one. I don't see racial tensions calming either since I don't truly believe that Biden cares about people of color.

Biden will likely try to backpedal on some of the trade decisions Trump made with China. It may be the only thing that can save both economies from an economic depression.

Worst case scenario has and always been world war.
