I haven't personally seen any freakouts firsthand, but before the mask mandate it seemed like like a pretty equal ratio of people by race weren't wearing a mask except for koreans who were pretty much all wearing a mask.

Most of the people uploading images are from more white populated places.

Personally I've seen Asians be pretty good on masks in general, but black and Hispanic Americans aren't and statistics on Coronavirus cases seem to support that.

I've seen a couple non-Whites on youtube being a Karen about masks.

I think it is unlikely that white people are primarily the ones who refuse to wear masks and also that, simultaneously, covid disproportionately affects minorities.

We have been told repeatedly that masks work, as demonstrated by the protests not causing a spike in cases. So if we actually look at who is getting sick, you would expect there to be some sort of correlation between that and mask compliance.

But since there are no studies on this, it's just going to be a whole bunch of posters anecdotally claiming one thing or another, primarily driven by whatever their existing worldview tells them to believe.

Im Asian, and I havent bought a single mask. If a store insisted on it, Id ether go to a different store or Id get a T-shirt and wrap it around my nose and mouth. Some places stopped letting me in with that t-shirt method, so I stopped shopping there and took my business elsewhere.

i dont wear one but if they become mandatory here i already have a good washable one and i got no problem wearing it.

When you lose your mind and have a toddler level tantrum as an adult over being asked to wear a mask.... just fuck off.

Maybe it's because since every minority has been getting the "Fair & Equal Treatment" spotlight recently, that some white people feel like they are being neglected, so have latched on to what ever "I'm the victim!" fad they can, because they are at their cores, attention whores.

It happens alot at dollar stores. Just thr other day i went in and this black couple walked in without masks, black cashier said they needed masks for service, the chick was like "no we don't bitch!" And then it got crazy from there with a whole lotta screaming back in forth including a friend of the cashier who was in line. This black dude without a mask at the back of the line was like "ahhh shit" when he heard them screaming about masks lmao
