Offworlder1 07/18/20 12:07:15 PM #8:	No my issue was that they never made any compelling reason for why Legion replaced Skynet and why the REV-9 was only a slightly better T-1000, and how Sarah kept destroying machines on her own via tips from "Old Arnold". The whole movie had NOTHING new to say, swapping a dude for a woman and changing skynet to legion, and the new "killer cyborg" never felt threatening no that anyone could see it as some scary pursuer at all when it kept getting it's ass kicked. Nothing here is compelling new, interesting, or even a "wow that is different". Rise of Skywalker was OK if you aren't a Star Wars fan. Like it wasn't good, but if you watch it just because its a action-y romp in space, its fine, I guess. The problem is that that isn't how 90% (at least) of people who want the new Star Wars movie think of it.
