I'm honestly amazed that the MCU has been able to hold people as long as it has. We're talking like 20 movies in a single continuity, over 12 years. Not to even mention the shows.

Or that it hasn't collapsed in on itself, being the first of its kind to be connected successfully. Probably because they didn't bother including tv and netflix and just stuck to the movies. The downside to including the other stuff we want is that it might get too big and not be able to sustain itself.

The MCU streaming gimmick will never fly. It's far too much to ask of audiences to not only watch all of the movies that come out a few times a year, but also multiple series with 10 or more episodes each on an additional paid platform.

Why are you saying it like people are forced to watch mcu related stuff? They either can if they're into it, or they can just see one for the goofy/fun action scenes and colors and enjoy themselves that way, as per usual. Eg A friend watched black panther without caring about any of the other MCUs, and I know some that watched winter soldier but not the other movies, not even the other captain americas.
