It's a fun game but people who laud it as the greatest game ever are looking at it from that perspective. If you play a 2600 game (literally any released prior to '85), there's no comparison. I actually just beat it for the first time a mere five years ago. It's way underrated in terms of difficulty IMO. My reflexes are too slow to judge when they're about to throw a hammer and then accelerate under the next thrown hammer so if I come to a stop I'm dead. Maybe they timed it differently in LL so that just flying through is more viable or something.
