The worst is in Apex Legends when you are queuing solo and you clearly get matched with a duo and they refuse to communicate until your squad has eliminated and they have the nerve to call you out when you lead in damage and kills.

They are pretty decent in BO4 otherwise I tell them to go fuck themself. If the kids aren't gaming with their friends who can back them up they usually shut up or leave.

Yeah I notice during BO4 MP at times I get pissed which is a dumb feeling so I remind myself to relax. Online gaming overall is pretty crappy. I prefer offline more. I stopped playing on the mic during MP. After like 3 or 4 matches at times I'll stop playing. It's usually about luck if you turn a corner and someone is there or not. Or some matches people show up first for you or they show up behind you. I'm not gonna run around like crazy constantly doing 360s like some of these hardcore gamers.

This, I'll do occasional co-op with friends but I just don't do competitive multiplayer very much at all anymore.

Like you said it's more frustration than it's worth, and also I'd be playing solo with random people which isn't really all that fun or engaging. Everyone is in party chats with friends too so the game is always super silent making it feel even more unengaging. I'll occasionally boot up COD4 Remastered because I still find it fun, but other than that I'm 95% single player these days.

Sure that 25% of the time I was having a great time, however if I have 2 hours of gaming time after work, I won't want to waste most of that being stressed out. WHat's the point of playing games if i'm not enjoying them most of the time.

It's like people I see playing MOBA's on twitch. What's the point? You're acting salty or dealing with salty teammates and are seemingly having a bad time.

Yeah I've been muting especially when people have their music playing so loud or they are talking with their partner so loud. I won't lie once I got a PS4 and got back into online gaming at times I had my music going, but shortly realized what a moron I was being.

Where the hell are the parents? Most FPS are rated M for Mature, yet parents let their kids/teens under 17 play it and say some fucked up shit. Had i said any of the shit i hear today when i was that age, i would have been grounded and had my game system taken away. Yeah i played M rated games before i was 17 but i wasn't playing online and saying stupid shit

Depending on how far my kid was taking it as a teen I'd tell him to ease it at times otherwise the system is gone. I'm a pretty harsh parent like that. I joked around saying crap as a teen so it's all good, but over doing it is when I draw the line. The few times I played online games on the mic as a teen I didn't go overboard constantly. Maybe the odd few times.
