Specifically gotta do it from boot, I can't get to the login screen.

Lenovo IdeaPad 330s, Windows 10.

Hard reset three times to begin Automatic Repair doesn't seem to be working.

I'm pretty sure there's a combination of three keys I need to hold to get to the Advanced Boot screen. I've done it before but can't remember or find them.

It's something like Shift, the Function or Windows key, and one of the F# keys but no idea.

Ayudame?

i have a s340 which is similar, i got into bios by swiping all the F-keys. From there you can just set to boot in safe mode.

It should have a button like this, press it right after power on.

Well, that was goddamn weird.

The only thing I could find with that symbol was this tiny hole in the right side.



Used a super-thin bit of metal to poke it on startup, couldn't even tell if it had any give.

Also swiped the f keys for good measure.

It skipped the Lenovo screen entirely, went to sign-in, and had a thing on the side asking how I wanted my display going (screen only, two screens, etc).

Then it told me my PIN wouldn't work due to repeated attempts, had to use the super old password I wasn't even aware this computer knew.

Loaded up just fine, told me it uninstalled some updates due to failed installation.
