Yeah i wasnt a big rap fan back in the day but east 99 was probly one of the first ten cds i ever owned. First 5 maybe.

I was one of the few metal heads in my whole school actually. Rap was big. But i basically just liked bone thugs, ez, and pac.

My xbox name is a throwback. People called me stupac and back then it pissed me off to no end. Im still in touch with one dude who brings those days up.

I went to an Ozzfest one year where the headliner was a reunited Black Sabbath with Ozzy. They opened up with Black Sabbath and that intro shook me to the core. They had the sound cranked up so much I swear the entire amphitheater rattled.

Well me and the wife are officially working from home, part-time and as needed until at least January. I don't like to bring up politics here or discuss them, but the fact that the US is on a terrifying upward trend, and now Trump is going to hide CDC numbers, i'm about convinced he's planning on lying through his teeth, will start to say the numbers are going down, America is doing great, etc. while it continues to get worse and worse. I'm not buying into the bullshit and it's not worth our lives.

Until at least January, i'm strictly work from home, and will take on additional projects as needed. Wife left her job when they pretty much told her during the lockdown that she still needed to be there 40 hours a week, they weren't providing masks and weren't showing much consideration to their employees.

It's just not worth it. It will impact us a bit financially but we will be fine, I have more than enough saved to keep us in good shape until next summer if needed.

I don't blame you one bit and would do the exact same if I could. Governor Lee isn't going to shut anything down or roll things backwards because there's enough of a vocal idiocy making outrageous claims.

I had time to kill at work today so I looked up the city's Facebook page to see what the comments were about how masks were made mandatory. That was a mistake. So many people posting about how masks do nothing at all (one person who said supposedly works at a hospital), it's all fear mongering, others upset because they aren't being told the recovery rate which is absolute BS but only the tested positive and the death rate (which doesn't take a genius to use the two to get an idea of the recovery rate), how people are sheep for listening to scientists. The best was someone saying that only 1,100 had tested positive in a city over 100,000 yet not realizing that not everyone has been tested and that the actual number is always going to be higher.

Trump is responsible for quite a bit of situation, but much of the blame falls on the public. Starting on Monday, nobody is allowed into my county office without a mask. We already know some people are going to raise a stink over this. The upside is that we have several deputies in the plaza keeping an eye on things so it's doubtful things will get too crazy.

I'd rather seem paranoid at this point and stay at home as much as possible, the wife's brother got it nearly two weeks ago and he's finally about recovered from it, but he said the body pain and overall illness is like having the flu with all of the symptoms multiplied by three. He lost a lot of sleep because of body pain and whatnot. I don't want to go through that, or worse, it effects people differently.

Yeah, I don't get what's with the mentality of you either get it and are totally fine or you get it and die. There's a world of pain out there if it has an affect and dying has the least likely chance of happening. The thing about working in IT is I have spots where there's just nothing for me to do. When i'm at work, those times really drive me nuts. Yeah i'm still getting paid but I feel like i'm just spinning my tires. At least at home I can set my laptop up next to my Xbox or PC and game it up all day. When stuff happens I can pause the game and do what I gotta do. Plus working from home I technically make more money because i'm not spending as much money on gas. I get it's not for everyone, but I personally love it for what I do.
