Is it because on twitch, people who generally tune in to a particular streamer are prone to be like-minded, and therefore have similar preferences for what should be allowed in that chat?

I don't think mods are generally liked on Twitch, unless they're a friend of the streamer who has been given mod privileges.

I don't mean to derail your topic TC but what's funny is mod hating on this websight is still relatively new compared to how it has been initially.

Back when the Message Board Help board was very active, I'd say 78% of users were mod lovers than mod haters. I'm not sure why there's a huge change.

The brief time I tried to get into Twitch, I totally didn't care for the mods. I ran into quite a few that had egos and were prone to power tripping.

I don't like them because I think they are kinda pathetic. We had a loser doxxing and harrassing people, which all stems from this sesspool CE, but because he was doing it on other sites they wouldn't do shit. They should've usermap axed him and made every effort to ban that loser from this site, but because that idiot was doing it or Reddit or whatever fucking site it was they just let him stay here.

When i first bought this up they used the ToS defense, like that fucking matters. The ToS isnt the rule of the internet, and normal 'real' people would've done everything in their dumb glorified janitor power to help.

But it doesn't matter, this is a dying site, stuck in 2002, that only old weirdos like myself go to. Who fucking cares at this point let them be useless.
