in the 90's I lost a collection of Genesis games because I stuck them in a basket sitting right next to a wall heater without realizing it or thinking about it. I found them later and the cartidges were melted and malformed. sucked. by then though I didn't really play my genesis anymore. but it still the worst tragedy of my gaming life probably
