Imagine any website that allows comments makes you sign up with a username. But, you have to put in your real name and do face verification with a form of government ID.
Would trolling and misinformation go away online? Its an interesting idea. The internet is a disgusting place filled with hate because of anonymity. Think of the bathroom stall in a middle school. Those walls and doors are filled with some of the most awful graffiti simply because its anonymous and they know someone else will read it. I dont like the idea of being forced to use a real name at all, as it creates real concerns for government tracking your online activity. --- !!!!!!!!! https://imgur.com/DzJSPWA ... Plenty of people make dumb and trolly comments on social media with their photo and real name This is true. But there are also a LOT of accounts on Facebook made by Russian bots. Same with Twitter. --- !!!!!!!!! https://imgur.com/DzJSPWA ... Copied to Clipboard!
