Its good to remember that electric vehicles are still essentially brand new. Getting a Tesla right now is pretty similar to buying PC parts. That said, it should not be too long before they introduce batteries good for more than 1,500,000 km. Teslas have been on the road for many years now and their batteries have held up infinitely better than the comp.
