Of course, with a load-out like Blue Mage/Berserker/Time Mage/Ninja , failure would have been entirely on me!
Neo ExDeath was trivial: being able to casually throw up Hastega+Mighty Guard Blue Magic that is Protect+Shell+Float meant the only thing that actually killed anyone was White Hole(Bartz got turned to stone the first time and Death'd the second). !Time powered Lenna's Rune Axe while everyone else spammed Meteor(and Krile threw the occasional Fuma Shuriken.)
Shinryu is a total chump as long as you have a means of berserking him, so the hardest thing about him was catching a good screenshot of him dying(very proud of myself on that count!)
Omega though...I would have to grind a bunch and buy a giant pile of Thunder Rods just to stand a chance. That thing is vicious!

In any case, not sure if I'm going to do another run yet, but I'm glad this one was so successful. Anyone else here Fiesta-ing?

Thunder Rods won't work because of permanent reflect and can't target the party with them. So you'd have to use Thousand Needles, reflected Mind Blast, Self Destructs, or Throws to do damage.

There is a different dirty trick you can do called "Quickleak" as well(It's not quick at all though)

1. You need someone to be in Reflect status and you need your Time Mage to not be in HP leak status themselves
2. Cast Quick with the Time Mage, reflect Venom Rod off your reflected party member
3. Do nothing, HP leak won't wear off because battle timer is frozen, but HP leak is still counting down the health.
4. 2-3 hours later, Omega is dead assuming no speedup is used.

The above only works on SFC-GBA since it was fixed in the later releases.

I've done the fiesta in a few previous years, but I completely burned out on the game by doing a lot of runs one year and haven't done a run the last 2 years or this one.

FF 5 is a pretty fun game

FF5 is the best Final Fantasy.
