Only 2 or 3, but I've got lots of possible ideas.

Something about the 1960s, either America (hippies) or Britain (Swinging Sixties)

Something about the 1990s

Books on German history

Something on French history

Religious reading, possibly The Lion's Guide to The Bible (I think I'm getting this name right)

A biography of Sir Winston Churchill

Something on the Wall Street Crash of 1929, and the Great Depression

What do you think?

Depends on your goal I guess. "The Room Where It Happened" recently came out and probably isn't a bad idea to pick up.

Mostly, to learn and be entertained.

What is the book you recommended about?

Only non fiction I like is military history, or biographies of wartime leaders like the Churchill one you mentioned.

Yeah, I like military history as well. I just read some of a book on Vietnam, and it was quite interesting.

It's a memoir by John Bolton, who was Trump's security advisor for some time. There was quite a stink leading up to its release because the government claimed that Bolton divulged sensitive information, but it was published regardless.

Is that the one that just came out? I couldn't remember the name. Fire and Fury is meant to be very good (read: hilarious).

It came out 2 weeks ago. Unsurprisingly there have been many memoirs by Trump's associates and advisors since 2016, but if you want to read one, Bolton's is probably the most logical choice.

@Dreamscissors

I must confess, I've wanted to read that book for a while. I hear it's entertaining, and extremely sophisticated.
