However it said the Death Note doesn't work on non-humans so I dunno if wpuld work on Yusuke

after the damage Yusuke took I don't think anyone Light can write him doing, outside of suicide, will actually kill him. Is there a rule that says the action has to actually be able to kill the person? Like imagine Light writing Goku dying by being hit by a trick

I forgot what the girls name it's been about 14 years since the Anime aired on AS but he does force a girl to commit suicide by fire

I mean, if his heart isnt beating, hes legally dead, so probably not.

That said, how does Yusukes body work if hes not getting any blood or oxygen to any of his muscles or organs?

Yusuke is still a human mostly so it should still work although whether or not he stays dead is another question entirely

If the method of death is impossible it will default to a heart attack.

Yusuke is no longer human, so no it wont work as the death note specifies that it works on humans.

Death note can't kill godlike anime protags unless they write that they are killed by someone more powerful than them like their current main villian.
