While I want it mostly for the aesthetic, the added benefits include it reducing reflected sun glare, and being an additional protective barrier for the paint underneath from rock chips, weather, etc. Plus, being that it's a wrap and not paint, means I can change it back with little issue and cost.

Downside it even though it's just a wrap, it's still kinda pricey at ~300 dollars if I want just the hood done. Plus, where I live the summers are very hot, and the winters regularly hit negatives. Vinyl wraps have reduced lifespans thanks to it, from the normal 5 years, to possibly just 2, according to most shops I've talked to around here.

On a side note, while I'm on the fence about the hood wrap, I am getting the windows tinted for sure. But, I'm sorta torn between 35% or 50%. The bright red of the car coupled with the sea of black Dodge loves using for the interior makes the windows already look tinted if you're looking from the outside, so for the sake of less headaches with the law I kinda want to go with 50%. But the legal max in my state can go way lower, so I'd like to take advantage of that for the increased heat management, and just deal with any potential headaches in trade of not stepping into a blast furnace every time I forget to crack my windows in the Summer.
