My mom and brother had it.

Brother (and his wife) work at a restaurant, and are considered essential. Day cares were closed, so my mom was babysitting their 1 year old for them.

My brother got it from work. My mom got it from my brother. Both recovered though.

My brother had a fever, shortness of breath, fatigue, and loss of smell and taste. Oddly enough, no cough. He quarantined from his wife and son for 2 weeks. He said it was worst at night - hed go through as many as 6 shirts because of how much he was sweating from the fever. Never came close to needing to go to a hospital or anything like that. This was back in late April. It took 11 days to get his test results back. By the time he got the positive results, hed been symptom free for 4 days already.

My mom... was interesting. She thought she was having bad allergies, as shed had her windows open in late May due to the nice weather. Her doc told her to get tested, just to be safe. We were shocked when she tested positive. Her only real symptoms were a swollen (not sore) throat, and the loss of taste/smell.

As far as Im concerned, it was probably a best case scenario for them. They both had it, neither was in any danger, and they now have antibodies. But still, I was anxious/nervous while they had it.

An old friend of mine that currently works at Wal-Mart got it and said it wasn't bad at all.

Claimed the media is making a mountain out of a mole hill.

I was keeping my distance regardless...at about 12 feet.

Know many people who got it.

Grandmother died from it, she was old, but she wasn't sick at all prior to it.

I know someone who was 31 who died from it too.

Don't know him well, but someone in their 30s from the local church in Ottawa got it and died. He was overweight as hell though. The main priest is probably in his 60's and got it, but recovered. He was a serious case for a while.

A friend's sister got it a couple weeks ago. She's a nurse in her mid-20s, afaik she hasn't had any complications.

Another friend's mom and step-dad got it, too, and his step-dad just passed away from it. He had been very vocally on the "this is a hoax/way to control you" side of things and was often saying things like "no one even knows anyone who has it," sucks that it took this to shut him up.

officially no
unofficially yes

people that told us they were sick didnt go to hospitals because they rather quarantine themselves than "get worse in hospitals...are them hosptials in triage?"

i heard many locally that do this and will ride the illness out til it gets worse like needed a ventilator. so far those that said this were between the ages late 30s to mid60s

oh i dont know any who were are in critical conditions or have died but i do know a nurse who took her own life and know of many doctors and nurses becoming infected and put themselves in quarantine.

I know someone that had it,myself.

This year late Feb and it lasted almost for 5 weeks(when I get a sore throat,it worsens to very bad cold, congestion, feel weak and chilly, lots of phlegm, terrible dry hacking cough that lasts for several weeks. This particular virus, minor soar throat, phlegm, congestion, minor weak feeling, dry hacking cough and the first time in my life, lost sense of taste and smell, which I thought was extremely weird, not something I'd normally get with the usual sore throat. For about a couple of weeks later, had some minor breathing problems that eventually went away. Since then I've recovered for the most part but now,the last few weeks, its like almost everyday I get a very minor headache daily(nothing like a migraine headache, thankfully)and time to time some aches in my arm muscles.

I've looked up online for some of the possible problems that one can expect from getting it and fortunately it wasn't serious but for those already have many serious complications, its worse.

Its best not to treat this SARS like the normal influenza flu that often can cause pneumonia. Think of it as a virus that should it get into the brain's central nervous system it could easily mess someone up very badly. Someone with influenza wouldn't normally be going around licking random things like produce fruit in a supermarket, licking elevator buttons, taking a poop on top of a overturned car in front of many onlookers or going around naked scaring and freaking people out. Recent video I saw yesterday was some woman that after she was refused entry into a bar because she refused to wear a mask, started to repeatedly ram into the opaque view entrance door. All of the those things I've seen isn't something the yearly flu would cause.

For those interested, seek out sources that aren't tied too much into mainstream sources and organizations tied to government/big pharma, the smaller independent non-affiliated scientists with the real knowledge is what needs to get out to be shown to people, sadly they just get constantly buried and slammed for not following the official narratives.

My friend started funeral arrangements and such the day he heard it was found in the home.

Mrs. DevsBro was showing symptoms so she got tested.

Things were awkward for the next couple of hours as she kept trying to avoid infecting me and Little DevsBro in the event that she had it, like we hadn't all been living together for the two weeks prior. I eventually just kissed her, and then she was ok.

Got the result yesterday. Came back negative.
