But now the algorithm is against your favor. Old OkCupid was set up really well, but ever since they made changes to their site, it's now far worse. Don't know why OkCupid thought it was a good idea to try copying tinder, but now all on my dating sites are the same and they all are not effective. I don't have any issues matching with people, but it never progresses further than that. I try to find something unique in their bio to mention or ask about, but get ignored. The few responses I did get were just one off messages that I struggled to further the conversation with. In the end, I gave up after I actually did manage to meet someone. Though, we hadn't agreed to meet, and she sort of stalked me a bit. She took my photos and showed them around to her friends until one identified me, then she found me on Facebook and figured out my job. Then based on when I was available to text her also figured out my work schedule and just started showing up. It unsurprisingly led to nothing also, some of you probably remember me asking for advice.
