The hell you mean he did beat him without a lot of trouble? If Toguru wasn't a sadist that talk too much he would just kill him. Also, Older Toguro was the second strongest in the team and was in the black chapter saga stronger and Close to impossible to kill.

Because his abilities are dangerous. He really only lost because he wanted to hear himself talk and drag things out. Had he wanted to he could have ended that fight quickly but he didn't and allowed Kuwabara to come up with a way to defeat him...and you have to remember Kuwabara was weaker than Hiei and Kurama but that handy new hilt he was given made his spirit sword a lot stronger than it was before.
So yeah, he really only gets beaten because of his own flaws. If he had just gone into to kill/win as fast possible he would have tore Kuwabara's heart out in an instant. lilORANG posted... Toguro is the strongest guy they have encountered up to the point where you are...maybe after the arc wraps up you will understand him a little better since there are some things you don't learn about him during the fight. Meh, he's just really strong. That's boring. Thought he'd bust out some new jutsu or whatever. Bui was boring when he was just ungodly strong, but then he revealed his true power and that was neat.
And you can't convince me the Elder was anything special after that. Dude out speeded Gorenja team. Kuwabara shouldn't have been able to even hit him lol. Bui and Karasu had way better feats, which just kinda hurts the narrative they're going for. --- ... Copied to Clipboard!
