This whole Hyrule Castle segment was great, and this Calamity Ganon design is amazing. Loving the music too. Kinda wish he didn't lose half of his hp from me completing main quests but whatever.

I wish the final fight was more exciting. First part has that hilarious 50% HP deletion to an already easy boss with the same weak point as every other enemy in the game and the second part is so easy Id be amazed if a single player in the entire world was damaged during it. Combine that with Ganon having no dialogue or anything and it makes for a sad finale. Im not convinced a Lynel couldnt have solod that whole world aside from Link

Even more badass when you think about the fact that she's been no selling him for 100+ years waiting for Link despite her previous lack of skill with magic.

Yeah.

I think the first part wasn't bad, but the second part had no stakes. He only ever shot directly in front of him. Would've liked it a lot more if you had to shoot him in places to stun him, then maybe, take a page out of Shadow of the Colossus and have to climb him to stab him in places.

That was a sweet ending though. I'm hyped for BotW2!

I must be one of the only people to like the second part of the fight infinitely more than the first. Yeah, it's way too easy, but goddamn is it epic and cinematic as hell. Just love the atmosphere and I was going wild my first time playing it.

Also not only is half of Ganon's health gone as a result of beating the divine beasts, the game also takes away all the Blight Ganon fights. If you go to Ganon with no divine beats beaten, you'd have to fight all four blights BEFORE a fully powered up Calamity Ganon. Reaaally wish they could've like, reversed that and come up with some justification. A boss rush and harder final boss would be a reward imho. Or at least if they're gonna axe all that content, give us an extra hard third phase to the fight you'd only get for beating all the divine beasts.
