A) slow the virus with mitigation procedures
B) slow the testing

Its part of the reason why South Korea did so well. The other part being that its citizens dont become manchildren when asked to do their part to stop the spread.

In the middle of a pandemic it's common courtesy to test everyone.

Every fucking country that has beaten this virus did so with crazy amounts of tests and contract tracing. You can't contact trace without testing. Hell this is how New York is fighting the virus and they are back to where they were in March numbers wise.

I literally admitted patients to the ICU and watched them get intubated. I was there when we couldnt order COVID-19 tests because the president over promised and under delivered in early March. I personally admitted dozens of patients who clearly had COVID-19 that I couldnt test during that time. I remember watching the president lie on live television while I admitted patients Trump sycophants insisted didnt exist. I literally had to buy my own 95 mask.

Dont you even go there. Call me when you have had to hold a phone to a patients ear so the family could say possible last goodbyes before theyre intubated, due to the no visitor policies.
