generally i find they're the same people that listen to music way to fucking loud. they've fucked up their hearing and cant accurately gauge how loud they are.

Oh god. There's a jackass at work who talks way too loudly into his mic and I have to lower the volume every time he talks (and then increase the volume again for everyone else). He has a stereotypical high-pitched nerd voice too.

I have sinus and allergy issues, so I'm sometimes gunked up and can't hear right. I'm either speaking way too loudly or overcompensating and speaking too softly. Can't seem to find a balance.
