They just add a like jaded past character and after the scene is done poe is like "hey wanna straight kiss like straight people do?" and it's like really bizarre and doesn't need to be in the scene and adds nothing

John Boyega and Oscar Isaac were so unhappy that their characters weren't gay that Boyega has said that he's 100% done with Star Wars and will never reprise the role of Finn no matter what, and I'm almost certain Oscar Isaac said the same thing.

It's not necessarily a big problem with the movie, but I can't say I'm a fan of introducing new female characters just to pair them up with the established male leads. WTF? Can't even get your representation right Lucasfilm!
