You have to cast Stop on an enemy and then hit it 100 times in the ~17 seconds your Stop lasts. The timing is ridiculously tight. You have to get off 3 Ragnarok attacks, but if the damn lasers randomly bounce around a little you fail because it doesn't recharge in time. So you have to do it perfectly and hope for some luck. Staff is the objective best end game choice because it gives higher max mp, where other choices will give you advantages in stats you can upgrade with synthesize items. If you didn't know, stop time is based on total MP, and every MP adds a second. If you pick staff/diamond dust this will only take you a few tries. Yeah, I realized way too late that I was making it harder than it ought to have been. Just did one more off-the-cuff run after and got 94 hits, which is my second-best time. My 'breakthrough' was not being an idiot and realizing I could switch between targets. Head for Ragnarok, and body for normal attacks because it's faster not having to jump like an idiot. Then you just need a spot of luck with the lasers and it's really not all that difficult. I can't see myself getting stuck on this one again. He'll eventually relent, but it will take some trial and error to get down the dodges. Preventing the 1hp attack is pretty difficult iirc, so i wouldn't count on doing it every time.
