Cause it looks like it's basically his life but if he followed his dad instead of going into comedy I saw it last week and it seems like its mostly based on his life with a few changes. He doesn't follow his dad though. He spends some time with firefighters and gets a better understanding of what his dad was really like and then the movie ends with us having no idea what he'll do with the rest of his life.
