While I am a little bias, there is one streamer in which I'm a mod in his channel (he only gets like 100-200 viewers per stream), who does something called Viewer's Choice two days of the week. He has a long list of games and people vote for the next game he plays on those nights via tips and bits. That gives people incentive to want to contribute to the stream, since some of the games he had played were not good (some of the games are good, too). He never actively asks for money at all and is extremely grateful for anything he receives, whether it's subs, tips or bits.

Of course, Phil cannot think of anything like this and continues to play the newest games, with some retro classics when there's a lull, while begging for his viewers' every nickel and dime they have. He could really improve his viewership, as mentioned before, if he concentrates on the games that do bring in the viewers. Why would I want to watch someone like Phil play Ghost of Tsushima, when I can watch the thousands of other streamers who are actually good at the game and not a complete asshole.

Phil doesn't want to increase his viewership or give anyone an incentive to donate. Those things would require effort on his part, and that's just not going to happen. In his mind, his viewers have no right to expect anything from him. They're just supposed to show up, open their wallets, and not complain too much about his garbage content or else he'll ban them.

Phil above else, is incredible paranoid.

He doesn't want more viewers because that can both disrupt his narrative and thus lower his income. Even if Phil does viewers choice, there is almost always a bullshit reason not to play the most voted game due to "fake voting" or some shit.

He also never plays with parties, too afraid someone will slip through and trash Phil. Hell, he was even afraid to talk back to an 11 year ols girl. He first had to mute everything before he could insult her.

He recently also said not to accept packages/gifts delivered too him, unless discussed in advance.

As much he is a piece of shit, due to his paranoia, his world is so incredible small. He also has nothing or no one to fall back on, thanks to his parasitic nature.

He may have fans, he may have a wife. But the truth is, he is all alone.

I'm aware a viewer's choice wouldn't work with Phil, as has been shown in the past, since he never finished Persona 3 and I believe it was Mario Sunshine that was voted on his Patreon, that he never played.

I'm pretty sure he played Mario Sunshine eventually, but he hated every minute of it. That's the main advantage of viewer's choice: if he hates the game (and he hates almost every game), he can blame it on the stupid, entitled viewers.

At least the writers are keeping it spicey, this arc was getting a bit boring, but the random supensions keep things fresh.

I wonder if Phil keeps his word and is now "done" with Twitch. Seeing him angrily writing an email that looks like it was written by a 5 year old is hilarious. And even funnier knowing he is engaging a bot.

The whole thing only lasted an hour, but I doubt he will leave Twitch behind.

Even with these suspensions, he's still making money (even more than usual), and these streams are likely a lot more exciting for his viewers than his usual dull gameplay. He even sees an increase in viewership. Yes, these false DMCA claims are unfair, but how pathetic is it that a suspension is a hundred times more entertaining than anything he can come up with?

I will never EVER be able to undestand that mindset. I know they want to "stick it to the haters" by giving money to Phil, but that means you are out of THAT money. YOU are worse off by giving your money away, tossing it into a literal black hole.

Meanwhile "the haters" get to enjoy Phil for free. I don't have to to toss Phil quarters in orde to see him dance. WIthout my money he will still stir drame, rage at video games, and generally be a horrible person. Difference is, my finances don't take a hit. And I sure as FUCK am not spending my dead wive's money on him.

I will never understand the whales who keep him afloat. It's some combination of sticking it to the haters, contrarianism, and insane brand loyalty that defies logic and reason. These people get nothing out of it. At least a cam girl will make some attempt to act as if she gives a shit about you. Phil won't even do that.

So, decided to tune in to DSP, load his stream and one of the first things I hear is, "30 minutes left in the stream." Of course, at that time, he was $75 from the goal, which is basically a huge fucking hint that he wants people to donate. And what do you know...in around 10-15 minutes time, he magically gets a huge $50 tip from someone and another $25 tip to hit the goal. And he looks so stupid with the vest on, like someone spraypainted a life jacket.

Someone also asked him why he didn't romance anyone in Fire Emblem and he gives the usual answer of "I'm 38, happily married and don't care about virtual waifus!"

He just can't get it through his head that he and his game character are not the same being. Maybe he should refuse to kill anyone in-game because that could get him arrested in real life.

I believe Phil misinterpreted something she said or misread a reaction or is simply so incredibly insecure and afraid of losing her that he won't even look at pixel women. Whatever the reason, it points to their relationship being unhealthy to the point that they should be seeking help.

This I don't get either, when Leanna was around he was practically slobbering over boobs, acting like a 12 year old would. And on top of that, the "romance" missions in most games like GTA or Sleeping Dogs are just side content, meant to be light hearted enjoyment. Why the fuck Phil would equate that with "cheating" is beyond me.

A possible theory would be that Leanna leaving him was something he would not have dared predict, and actaully hurt him really badly (the worst thing you can do to a narcissist is actually break with them). So it is more likely that Phil himself is choosing to walk on eggshells, rather than Kat is forcing him to act the way he does.

Kat seems way too passive to actually tell Phil what to do. And if it is true, both what people KF discovered and Kat's sister stepping forward, she might be on the spectrum. On top of that, Kat and Phil could not have less chemistry if they tried. My guess is that at best they are roommates. Phil has had enough slips of the tongue to know that he sees Kat as his mom/maid. They live seperate lives, have no sex, Phil feels the constant need to state that he has a wife and his happily married.

So yeah, I am 100% convinced Phil is doing this to himself, and Leanna is the first and only person that really hurt him.

As I stated above, I honestly believe Kat is way too fucking passive to tell Phil anything. And on top of that, no one tells a narcissist anything. Kat doesn't seem like the controling kind.

Yeah, Phil is borderline paranoid. Not sure where that comes from. Narcissist do have a certain persecution complex, where they believe others are jealous of them and want to sabotage them, but Phil is in overdrive. Phil barely has a relationship to speak of. Leanna was the only one actively seeking out a relationship with Phil, but she broke with him.

And everything we've seen and heard about Phil proves that every relationship he ever had turned toxic, because of him. He broke with all his friends, burned all those bridges, and even with family members. He only calls his mom once a week, and refused to call her on Mother's day, because then he wouldn't have anything to talk about next Tuesday. He is the kind of person that lets his parents fly across country, to help him paint his house. He marries in their backyard and lets his mom pay his taxes.

If you are of no use to Phil, you get thrown under the bus. Doesn't matter if you are his friend, a family member or one of his loyal viewers. That is how toxic this guy is. He thrives on drama.

She said on Twitter, that Kat's on the spectrum, I believe Asperger's syndrome was mentioned.

I am not saying it is 100% true, but it would explain a few things.

Also, Phil has explained why he has 2 internet lines. See, the one he uses for his "business" is 100% tax deductable (no idea if it is true), so he only has to pay for the other line.

So he'd rather pay 100% for a line he doesn't need, than get just one line and have to pay 50% for that, if he splits it between business and non-business usage.

Quick math time: he'd rather have two 100 dollar lines, and get one of those for free, than get one 100 dollar and having to pay 50% for it.

He is monumentally stupid.

I know this was meant in jest, but how many of Phil's actual unironic fans ARE female? I've seen KF going in depth about most of Phil's fans, and as far as I have seen, his whales are all males (with actual mental issues, not trying to be an ass here), so I am curious. Anyone know of female fans?
