Every single time after reaching a new low and believing he can't sink any lower he keeps smashing those expectations.

If his fans were smart (lol), they would call his bluff. Hold off on tips until the end of the stream and force him to either go overtime (which means more content for them) or end the streak. Phil says he can't keep going overtime, but I think he understands that ending the streak means losing a guaranteed $200 in tips a day, because I don't think the streak will start up again. So we would see which of his attributes is stronger: greed or laziness.

I noticed something.

Phil was at 44 dollars with about 20 minutes left in the stream. He also had run out of water, which seems like no big deal at all, given that he only had 20 minutes left to go. But no, he immediatly had to go get some water. This struck me as weird, but I also could be reading too much into it.

He did go into overtime, and even after he hit the goal, he refused to put on the vest because he was playing the game, angering his fans.

Someone asked what measures Phil has taken as far as self defense goes, but he refused to answer that question because it could "hurt" him, he did let people know he has an alarm system and many other things.

So... Phil lowered the bar YET AGAIN.

See, during the pre-stream he was massively guilt tripping his fans how he almost didn't make the vest goal. He went on for nearly 10 minutes how he had to go into overtime to reach the goal. And to top it all off, he blamed hus viewers for having to send emergency tweets, because people failed to show up and support him.

He then ended by comparing himself to DrDisrespect, saying that he (Phil) is so genuine, and doesn't do over the top reactions to attract children. He then mocked DrDisrespect for wearing a wig and sunglasses.

He is so utterly devoid of self-awareness that we need new words to describe him.

Phil will literally put on a vest and glasses for money, but that's somehow different. It's probably his viewers' fault.

I've said it before: If he were playing a character, it would be genius. It would be a scathing parody of everything wrong with greedy, entitled e-beggars who have no self-awareness whatsoever, treat their supporters like shit, and are completely out of touch with the world. Instead, it's all real, which makes for an absolute garbage-tier human being.

He wants people to tip sooner rather than later so that there won't be drama and he can avoid people freaking out and talking about the vest streak in chat. He mocked the people doing this and said that it is overwhelming. That's the condensed version of what he actually said on stream.

Putting on a vest to get $100 is too much effort for him, and he hates that his viewers have power over him. It's not enough that he gets $200 a day to do fuck all. No, he needs to get that money on his terms. He's legitimately annoyed that his fans are excited about the vest.

We pretty much all predicted this in the previous topic, that he would eventually would resent his fans for having to wear the vest. He resents having to do it for money same way he resents having to play games for money.

He literally called his viewers overwhelming for talking about the vest too much.

Strangely enough, that's not the worst thing. The absolute worst thing about all of this, are the people who keep giving Phil money for his absolutely abhorrent behaviour. He keeps insulting his viewers, blaming them, telling them to pay more/faster and they fucking do it.

As horrible as Phil is, his fans are somehow worse.

Also, "the scene" happened during TLoU2 stream, he didn't even glance at his TV the entire time till it was over. It's so fucking strange.

I will never believe that his fans are worse than he is. The worst DSP fan would be some whale who gives Phil thousands of dollars despite knowing Phil is a terrible person who will waste that money. That's bad, but at least that whale isn't lying, manipulating, and scamming in order to make a living off the backs of others, many of whom are vulnerable and extremely naive.

So Phil admitted during his retrospective that he didn't pay any taxes last year (once again lying about what the money he is asking is for), and actually is hoping that his payment plan will be reinstated.

Do you want to know the quality of the retrospective? It was Phil watching a retrospective. Such amazing content. The Megaman 6 ragequit came up, and Phil vomits more excuses than ever. To make things better, he was falling asleep around 1:15pm local time, he blamed Jasper for it, since he woke him early. But it's not because he rarely sleeps before 2am.

He then started to reminisce about the old Youtube days, even gave a "tour". Then shat on Youtubr saying that the new UI would be their undoing.

About the LightSydePaul thing, he was getting way too sucked into all this, maybe getting banned is actually for the best.

I think it's safe to assume that people don't care what Phil says he needs money for. People know that with money Phil begger for he flew Kat over the country, got married and blew the money on god knows what except shit like taxes or bills.

So if people were going to stop giving him money, they would have done so ages ago, the whole vest thing is proof of that. Because even though he has made over 15.000 dollars doing so, he is still getting people to buy games for him and shit, still claiming not to have money.

Phil is acting like he knew all these years thath the FGC wasn't "right" even though he hasn't been part od it who knows how long.

And like with DrDisrespect, it took him almost no time to make it about himself. He really can't help himself here, Phil is the textbook defenition of "kicking down" while in his mind he believes he is punching up.

He could have said that he found it said that the FGC is falling apart, something that he has been a part of and played a pivotal role in him getting noticed in tbe first place. Instead we get the Phil circus.

To make matters worse, he is shitting on thr Namco, Netherrealms and Street Fighter twitter accounts, because they showed some solidarity towards what is happening. He is such a disgusting asshole.

He's literally jealous of the attention the vest is getting. It's no different than anything else chat talks about that inevitably leads to Phil getting pissed that chat isn't talking about him. He hates that his chat has this power over him, yet he has to keep pushing the streak because it is guaranteed money for zero effort. If the money stops, he's going to jettison the vest as fast as possible.

This is Phil's definition of success. He's bringing in tons of money every day that he streams, with a consistency he hasn't seen since his YouTube days, yet he's still absolutely miserable.

He generally doesn't get much in the way of views, and even many of his most loyal viewers seem to watch him at least partly for the drama. In my opinion, the percentage of people who legitimately like him and enjoy his content for the actual gameplay is minuscule. If it wasn't for the small group of whales who inexplicably provide a large chunk of his income no matter how lazy his content is, he would be homeless.

There is less than 30 people on this planet that likes DSP, some of them family. 1 of them is cat, and even that's debatable. A lot of troll tips at $1 help out a lot, but then you have the whales, who actually like the guy, donate/tip the most.

But this isn't about money, it's about views - DSP is terrible at video games, so people like to laugh at other people failing at things. I don't watch a lot of the, "This is how you don't play," videos, but I will check out a recap of DSP's day, recounting all the terrible things he has said, which is every single stream he has ever put out

If you only watch one, check out pocok's TIHYDP Dark Souls Redemption Run. It's worth it for the musical interludes alone.

Also, it's mostly a lot of clueless paypigs just lining up to pass their cash. I am enjoying the fact that he hates the vest as his biggest accomplishment. Even on his best day, he's still miserable.

It's always funny to see Phil try to act as if his reviews are thoughtful and somehow better than other reviews that say the same thing. Sounds like a weak attempt to walk back his earlier complaints that people were spamming in chat and causing drama when the goal wasn't met early. Either way, it's obviously the viewers' fault.
