No one posted in the last couple Ogres, oh wells
... Anyways, I've heard the Langrisser games kinda have an Ogre Battle style battle system. Plus I think Pokemon COULD be easily adapted to it, with every pokemon having a front row and back row move. --- "Salt cures Everything!" My YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/user/Nirakolov/videos ... the only thing I can think of that isn't really anywhere close (but I'd rather mention something than nothing) is the Majesty games, where you're not in control of your units, but rather build things for them to use and do your best to make the supplies they need available for them to purchase. (so, the only similarity is that the combat is automatic, and your decisions are more strategic in nature.)
(I guess in some way any 4x games that you use auto-calc in would be sort of similar... but somehow auto-calc doesn't seem the same for some reason, although it might be.) (also tag, because if there are games like Ogre Battle, I'd sure like to know about it) --- ... Copied to Clipboard!

Closest I can think of is Yugioh: Falsebound Kingdom for Gamecube, and I'm not 100% sure about that
