Sorry somebody's mom gotta wade through a mess for 1 or 2 grocery runs to get to plenty of groceries that are still on the shelf. Black lives matter more than an inconvenience at the walmart. Again that video getting amplified by big tech is no doubt to astroturf people against protesting.

Yeah, shredding a fucking Wal Mart and stealing half the shit in it's a "protest" now. You know what the REAL problem is here? Armchair analysts shitposting about "the cause" while sitting at home safe and sound. Encouraging destruction. Calling riots and looting "protests." All while never so much as having to go without their morning Hot Pocket from mommy.

No she has very likely not been to literally every store however that doesn't mean she has access to every store. There's still a lot of people without cars in America and can only get to places they can reach on foot. And even if you do have a car that's still not a guarantee these days since the road could be blocked or you could go shopping and emerge from the store to find out that cops slashed every fucking tire in the parking lot.

Its just deflection. Hell, look at the dude who pretended to go out and protest and even claimed to get tear gassed, yet calls rioters and looters "protesters" to the point where you realize that even if they are being truthful, they might just mean they went out and cleared out a store and burnt it down. Sadly, people conflating protestors and rioters is not an ironic thing, it happens all the time. The news does it quite frequently ("this is largely a peaceful protest" while a building burns in the background). What made me press x to doubt that dude's story was his willingness to make rioting and protest synonymous. Peaceful protesters dont like to give cops excuses to crack skulls, go tactical, declare lockdowns . . .

The fact that they reactivated their account just to shitpost on this clinched it for me that they arent being truthful.

The person he responded to was calling this story an attack on BLM. BLM does not publically support riots or looting, but the poster somehow views this as an attack. Meaning they think BLM supports rioting and looting.

So the confusion comes from many who consider themselves on BLM's "side" supporting riots and looting, and thinking the overall movement does as well when no, it does not. And the people who believe that weigh in, and other people respond, and then others weigh in that dont actually think that riots and protests are one and the same, but get lumped in with those who do. Leading you to ask why people tell you that you believe that when you dont.

Such a dishonest and bullshit post. Goddamn.
Ok let's be more clear and break down the problems with your post since you still don't understand.

Some of you are so out of touch with reality it isn't even fucking funny.
Per the video "every grocery store looks like this." So no, her just going to another store is not an option. And lmao at suggesting she move to another neighborhood. What the fuck kind of bootstraps bullshit is this?

Bootstraps is a mentality that is used to prevent the kind of protest we're seeing. The meaning of it is to accept that you will have to work harder for less every day. These protests are what those propagating bootstrap mentaility fear because it actually brings change.

Why are people trying to hard not to condemn rioting and looting of community stores? Because they're insured? Great, that surely puts food in everyone's mouths that relied on that store. That surely puts money back in the pocket of the workers who can't work now.

Because these riots are the language of those that have been unheard. That's a famous quote for a reason. I have not looted, would not outright advocate for it, but I understand why it happens in movements. And in times with the right having so much power, I'm not wasting energy attacking the protest tactics of the left. Protests that actually create change always create uncomfortable conditions for all initially.

And fuck off with that whole "well that's part of a bigger problem," ok great, you're absolutely right. There is an issue with Walmart taking over towns and shutting down small business. What good does that do bringing it up in times like this?

Like, imagine seeing a woman in tears because she can't shop for her family and saying "sorry sweetie, thems the breaks! Down with capitalism!!!"
What good is it to bring up now? This is an important part of the context for why it is happening. Voting did not fundamentally change anything about these conditions, America ignored and mocked peaceful protests on this issue. Historically this is when riots happen and actually change things which is happening now. Sorry that it makes you uncomfortable. What else did you suggest we do? All other avenues have been exhausted. You wanted us to sign petitions even harder or what.

Separating protestors from rioters is a right wing weapon with tons of historical context. There is a reason Trump immediately lied about antifa being behind the more raucous parts of the protest. It gives the public an out to turn against the protest that is finally gaining attention. You're either being played or actively participating in the bad faith takedown of progress towards racial justice.

More concretely, talk of "outside agitators" gives the state justification for using force against people regardless of where they're from. You see generally unsubstantiated claims of outside agitators in virtually every major protest, going back decades.

Lol and during this entire debacle, you have made all of twelve posts about it. Suuuuuure.

I dont even get what you're saying here. The riots and looting have damaged the reputation of the protests a good bit, primarily because the news considers them one and the same. If the right wing doesnt support it, why would they want to separate the two? And yet you willingly put the two together as synonymous . .

If things get worse, you wont see reform, you will see a brutal crackdown, and all the olive branches put out so far taken away. You might see martial law. You might even see civil war. What you wont see, is any meaningful reform of policing as a result. You want that?
Nope I have active posts from a couple days ago in topics about nostalgia and popeyes.

You've already had it explained in this topic to you. Google "outside agitators" if you understandably don't want to take a CE poster's word for it.

And nah we're gonna see a continuation of police reform and disbanding like what has already happened. That's what I want and taking a knee during a football game never accomplished it so it unfortunately came to this like it always does.

Yeah yeah it's just those outside agitator white kids causing a problem, not people that are oppressed by the systems that made you so comfortable resorting to riots and looting after police started trouble. Many obviously consider Walmart to be one of those statues of oppression you agree with vandalizing. The news covers those statue takedowns pretty positively because it doesn't destroy any private/corporate property/profits so no surprise that's where you draw the line. Media coverage is powerful.

We'll just agree to disagree on what has actually gotten results.

So I looked it up and don't see how it's relevant. No one here is discounting the unrest or against the BLM movement, or saying the looters aren't from that Walmart's area.

I'm personally saying I don't believe people who are taking stuff for themselves is for the movement.

Outsider agitators is a term that has been used to discount political unrest as being driven by outsiders, rather than by internal discontent. The term was popularized during the early stages of the Civil Rights Movement in the United States, when Southern authorities discounted African-American protests as being driven by Northern white radicals, rather than being legitimate expressions of grievances.[1][2] It has been argued that the term has both anti-Semitic and anti-black roots.[3]
The term gained further prominence during the George Floyd protests, with local officials in Minneapolis claiming that most rioters were not from the city, despite jail records and social media indicating otherwise.[4][5]
