Since it seems that going after Mattis isn't even enough.

Like Cocaine Mitch seems like an obvious one, but if Trump was in position to go after him like that the revolt would already be on/over.

E: To be clear I mean revolt in the GOP, as in actually have the party turn on/desert him.

I really don't know. they seem willing to just follow him to the depths of hell and will all turn on whoever loses his favor. I bet you that if he threw Mitch under the bus, the GOP would instantly pretend like he was always a loser and not a true republican

Given the general spineless nature of Republicans, I request clarification. Do you mean they would call Trump a loser, or McConnell?

Mitch McConnell isn't in power because the gop loves him. It's because he controls the money. If Trump found a way to replace him or go after him. Another slimy politician would be like a mimic. Trying to be the new McConnell.
