I actually don't have any and it's something of a regret of mine at the age of 32. I've made a NY resolution (I generally hate those) to get something.

What did you do? Did you figure out ideas you wanted to represent, artists that you wanted to hire?

None yet. I had an idea for one this past Winter that would match a scar on my opposite ankle in color and alignment, but would have a personal slogan in stylized script. The pandemic put a hold on it and I've been waffling since conceiving of it, but I'm still sort of tilted towards yes.

If I ever went back to Japan, I wouldn't be able to get into onsen anymore and that's the one thing holding me back. Not that I have plans to make Japan travel part of my lifestyle, but what a thing to have to miss out on if I did.

I've got one. It's a pocket watch on my left ribs. I've had a couple of other ideas, but none solid enough to go ahead and get.

I've got four.

One cross on my right bicep I got when I was like 19. It's a really poorly done tattoo with bad line work, and I haven't even been a Christian for around 8 years now.

On my right forearm I've got a pretty big tree of life. It's he one from this cigar band, with the same color gradient, looks real nice with bold line work.



Then I've got a triskelion on the inside of my left bicep. I honestly forget about it a lot.

From my left shoulder down to my elbow I have a custom elements piece with air, earth, water, and fire all coming out of a circular symbol in the center.

I have 9 completed tattoos and a 3/4 sleeve in progress.

Most of them are Native American imagery (feathers, headdress, eagle) on account of my native heritage.

I also have a chess piece (pawn) on my wrist, representing my love for chess and games in general.

I have a honey bee and a flower one leg and a snake and vampire bat on the other.

I love tattoos and all of my work has been professionally done.

I was going to get one before this Covid stuff popped up. I was going to use it to honor my dad, though I had only raw ideas of what it was going to involve. I wanted his initials, DOB and DOD, and something with fire. Not to be edgy, but he was a fire chief for many years before I was born, he loved playing with the camp fire, and in winter he was anal about the fire place being just right. It Fire felt right.

I'll get it eventually, I believe my area has 30 something cases out of 20,000 people, so I'm thinking July would be a good time. I may get more after that one, but I'm not sure yet.
