I work at a wally world. Woke up to a voicemail saying i dont have to report to work tonight and that they were already closing the store for the day.

I work at a CVS Pharmacy. They were going to close at 7, but decided to work people up until the time curfew begins at 8. This is after one CVS got burned and another robbed in the same city.

The term Wally World comes from a fictional amusement park in the 1983 comedy film National Lampoon's Vacation. The sheer size and everything under the sun mentality of the park set the stage for the Walmart store name to be altered to Wally World soon thereafter.

My store (not Walmart) is closing down early as well. For the next 7 days the hours are from 8AM to 3PM, for both the front & pharmacy. Our usual hours are 7AM to midnight.

And I don't have to work tonight, just got a voicemail telling me not to come in because there was some looting around the area and I still get paid for my shift, don't know how I feel about this unexpected day off, guess I'll go oil my guns.
