They were told that the gathering violated the quarantine laws. They didnt listen. Montreal has one of the worst covid outbreaks of any city in North America. This was not the way to express solidarity. Black communities in Montreal are the demographic most effected by. covid. Putting them at risk isnt helping. Lets not forget to mention to looting and rioting that occurred after. Almost like some people are treating these protests as an excuse to get away with bad behaviour. Perhaps my outlook on human nature is more cynical then yours, but this seems to be a classic case of exploiting tragedy and injustice for personal gain. Typical. --- You know you love me...
