Gossipgirl 06/01/20 1:25:19 AM #1:	Why put ourselves at risk during a global pandemic going to bat for US issues? This is especially aimed at Montreal (where I live for most the year), which has the highest density of covid 19 cases and deaths in the country. 404 new cases were reported in Quebec today, most in Montreal. This is not the city or time to be having a protest. Of course the looting that occurred after police rightfully tear gassed the self righteous crowd was disgraceful as well. We are better then this. sorry for the mini rant, but as someone who is hoping that life will resume to semi normal soon, seeing self righteous Canadians acting like clowns for progressive clout really grinds my gears. --- You know you love me... Toronto and my current home, the joke known as Vancouver (we have an entire model of money laundering named after us) held their own protests as well. None got as bad as Quebec, but tbf both of these cities are doing much better in regards to the pandemic. Still it was a futile and pointless ideal that only serves to set back the progress we made on reducing the spread of the virus and tbh most of the attendees were dumb highschool and college kids who just wanted a hip Instagram story. --- You know you love me... This isnt just a US issue, though Americans tend to be more outspoken of these kind of things. Montreal has been run by the mafia for decades for example, and people just sit around and accept it. Same with police brutality and racism.
