Yeah i've slowed down as well. ive actually been doing a lot of time traveling backeach week and time traveling forward day by day getting my villager recipes and stuff.
Hard for me to keep up with work and stuff.

I hated how I had my villagers stacked together. I had to move everything around and ended up TT otherwise it would have taken me weeks. What a pain.

In the beginning, I made a village but put everyone together with no yards. I just wanted to grab recipes easily. Then I saw other islands and was like fuck, I wish I gave them yards. Moving one house at a time was a nightmare, because you cant just move one house a few spaces over. It will give you an error that theres a house in your way. Like fucking yes there is, I want to move it mofo.

I ended up having to move all my houses out the village one at a time, then place them back one at a time. Freaking nightmare.

Wow, thanks for the heads up. It's kinda funny that the game wouldn't let you move a home a few steps over.

Christ, I finally got a handful of shooting stars tonight. Not a full on meteor shower, but this is the most shooting stars I've caught in one sitting in all the times Celeste has been in my town. Finally I can start making things with these damn Mario Galaxy star bits. I'm glad you can just mash A and it'll register any shooting stars that go by, even if it's multiples in a row.

I found Sherb on a mystery island last week. Hes so adorable. Ive yet to find a single cat in the wild though. Every time I set out to search, I end up with a new meme villager. I bought Ankha with nmt and shes the only one.

Now I have Phoebe, Pekoe, Julian, Pietro, Lucky, Sherb, Roald, Whitney and Audie that I got through campsite or mystery island (except Phoebe who was my starter). Maybe used a total of 35-40 nmt for islands. No cats though sigh

Its a running joke on which new meme villager Ill find in my quest for a cat

For future reference, when they prompt you to kick out someone it is random. Quit out if it isn't someone you want gone (like right as soon as their name is shown) and go back to it again.

Oh well, I'm not too attached to any one villager and I told myself I'd try to let things happen as naturally as possible and don't stop anyone from moving out if asked. I'd seen how low it takes some people to get the right villager out and it's not worth the effort to me. Miranda's time will come.

what even decides what villager moves into your island from someone else's island? I don't even remember talking to a certain villager, but apparently they came from a random person's island. I visit like 3-4 islands a day from turnipexchange. only time I talk to a villager is they are crafting something.

Apparently you have a chance of picking up a villager that moved out of someone's town in the last few days. A few weeks ago, I was going to trade with someone, but they wanted to wait a few days because a villager had just moved out without anyone claiming them.

Yeah IDGAF about this villager portrait stuff. Everyone keeps talking about mass delivering letters with gifts to their villagers and I ain't got the patience for that. I remember back in Wild World, you could get portraits simply from talking to a villager often enough and just being nice to them, didn't have to send them a bunch of shit in the mail.

yeah cherry, kid cat, and merengue all asked to leave recently and they are the only ones i want to keep lol

cyd asked to leave today though, i like him, but i have his photo and also it's time for someone new
would have rather had curlos or rex ask to leave, have their photos as well
