Hayame Zero 05/24/20 6:39:30 PM #14:	EC Comics was simultaneously one of the goriest and socially progressive comic companies from that time, and was one of the focal points of them cracking down on them. The Comics Code really hurt them more creatively after that. Hell, The Joker was defunct for like a decade because DC weren't allowed to make him kill or injure people anymore, so they just decided to stop using him.
