so, i'm doing a one-shot soon, the point is that the group is gonna kill a Necromancer.
i'm coupling a few short stupid jokes and longer serious stuff.
and part of it is that in the first encounter they should hear a conversation between a couple of Wights. they're Wight Supremacists who think the living are lower creatures.
"Wight Power" etc.

now, how do you say "Lebensraum" in english?
do you get the same connotation with "LIvingspace"?

Wight 1: "we're gonna kill the city, and finally get some more Livingspace"
Wight 2: "don't you mean 'Deadingspace'?"
...
Wight 1: *slap* "shut up Greg"

and then the players kill them all.

like, does that joke work in the way i want, or does it just sound weird?

also, the necromancer is gonna try to cause a plauge at some point, using rotten pieces of cows, which i'm gonna call "Cow-rona"

if the characters notice, they can help stop it.

I just had to look up both this and Lebensraum.

So yeah; place to live/place to die is a much better joke to make

Lebensraum is a very German term that doesn't really translate over to English, except maybe the concept of Manifest Destiny

Place to live/place to die is better for what you're going for
