I am slightly worried about going somewhere like that. The surgery I went to was almost completely deserted, though, and they had asked people to wait outside (I was one of two people). I think the most likely way for me to catch the coronavirus was when I was sitting next to the nurse, but between the various precautions the surgery was taking, to say nothing of the facemask, I think my chances of catching it are very low.

Anyone else go somewhere they're worried about?

Been working at hospital throughout this, including caring for a covid patient in ICU.
Somehow, none of our staff have tested positive, which I think is mostly thanks to the good infection control policies.

What level of protective gear do you use, Sonic Cannon? What country are you in?

New Zealand
Negative pressure isolation room with anteroom for getting PPE on/off. Rubber boots that are only for in the covid area, N95 mask, hair covering (disposable surgical cap), eye protection (either goggles or a face shield, personal preference), one of those yellow impermeable gowns, with gloves taped underneath the cuffs and a second set of gloves over the top so we can change them inside if needed.

Someone's main job is to watch everyone put on and take off the gear in proper order and with correct hand hygiene in between steps where appropriate. and the boots get removed and left in a disinfectant tub on the way out of the area.

That's very impressive. Plenty of high-level gear, and I particularly like the way someone is tasked to checking everything.

How many deaths does NZ have a day?

You can see most of our stats here:
https://www.health.govt.nz/our-work/diseases-and-conditions/covid-19-novel-coronavirus/covid-19-current-situation/covid-19-current-cases

We've had a total of 21 deaths. In the last 2 weeks it's been <5 new cases each day, so it's looking good

I work with money and public everyday. Half the public doesnt care about masks.

That said our city has zero cases and has for thr entirety of the pandemic
