I just ignore them.

I either ignore them if I'm already talking to somebody, as is normally the case. But if I'm alone I just say sorry I don't have anything.

I give them pocket change if I have any. They'll probably use it for drugs but w/e.

Depends on how I'm feeling and where I am

Never give from my car. Normally I'll buy them a bottle of water if I'm at a gas station

I ignore them up to the point I can't take their begging/whining any longer, to which I tell them, "Sorry, no can do."

Sometime around last fall at Walmart some woman asked me for some money to get milk for her kid and gas for her car and that she was homeless and traveling.

Gave her a 5 to get her off my back and pretended I went into the store.

Observed her and seen her walk up to some car and hand someone some cash (plus mine) and they handed her something back that looked like a napkin.

Now I use the busy side of the store instead of the calm home and garden side.

Hell last year some bloke shot and killed someone that robbed him on that side.

I like to help them skip the middleman and toss them a chinese fentanyl right there. Doing gods work.

I tell them no. If they keep bugging me I ignore them

I just say "Oh, thanks" and help myself

I give several dollars, usually the two or three in my pocket. This happens almost every week with a different homeless person asking. If it was more often, I might stop giving frequently. Doubt Ill ever stop completely, though.

I tell them I have no spare/extra change. Sometimes I'll add "Good luck" or "Stay safe".

I do so with a clear conscience because I cut checks to homeless shelters, and substance abuse groups each year. I also volunteer with a shelter from time to time.

This homeless guy asked me for money the other day.
I was about to give it to him and then I thought he was going to use it on drugs or alcohol.
And then I thought, that's what I'm going to use it on.
Why am I judging this poor bastard.
People love to judge homeless guys. Like if you give them money they're just going to waste it.
Well, he lives in a box, what do you want him to do? Save it up and buy a wall unit?
Take a little run to the store for a throw rug and a CD rack? He's homeless.

I walked behind this guy the other day.
A homeless guy asked him for money.
He looks right at the homeless guy and says why don't you go get a job you bum.
People always say that to homeless guys like it is so easy.
This homeless guy was wearing his underwear outside his pants.
Outside his pants. I'm guessing his resume isn't all up to date.
I'm predicting some problems during the interview process.
I'm pretty sure even McDonalds has a "underwear goes inside the pants" policy.
Not that they enforce it really strictly, but technically I'm sure it is on the books.

"Get a job" does not apply these days. I was lucky to find a decent job nowadays.

Say sorry I dont carry cash. Jokes on them because I actually do carry cash.

Offer to buy them food because I don't carry cash.

9 times out of 10 they yell at me and turn me down.
